Brief Outline on CSR Policy of the Company :

The CSR Policy outlines continuing commitment by the business to contribute towards economic, environmental and social development in the vicinity of our facilities/operations with a view to improving the quality of life and fostering sustainable development of the communities as well as our workforce and their families. The company intends to pursue its CSR program in a structured manner, making this an integral part of the business to minimize risks and build reputation and competitive advantage, whilst pursuing initiatives covering the following platforms – community, environment, workplace & market place.

Through this structured approach, we intends to enhance involvement of employees in progressing its CSR program, whilst addressing the needs of various stakeholders. The policy has broadly focused on disaster relief and on promoting education, including special education and employment enhancing vocation skills especially among children, women, elderly and the differently abled and livelihood enhancement projects of the company.

The areas listed in the Schedule VII to the Companies Act, 2013 and amendments to the same from time to time shall be taken as the guide for the company’s CSR initiatives. Company shall encourage interventions in a manner so as to bring all round development of the communities in which they intervene.

Toward this commitment, the Company:

  • To develop the required capability and self-reliance of beneficiaries at the grass roots, in the belief that these are prerequisites for social and economic development;
  • To engage in affirmative action/interventions such as skill building and vocational training, to enhance employ ability and generate livelihoods for persons including from disadvantaged sections of society;
  • To pursue CSR Programmes primarily in areas that falls within the economic vicinity of the Company’s operations to enable close supervision and ensure maximum development impact;
  • To carry out CSR Programs in relevant local areas to fulfill commitments arising from requests by government/regulatory authorities and to earmark amounts of monies and to spend such monies through such administrative bodies of the government and/or directly by way of developmental works in the local areas around which the Company operates;
  • To carry out activities at the time of natural calamity or engage in Disaster Management system;
  • To contribute to the Prime Minister’ National Relief Fund or any other fund set up by the Central Government for socio-economic development and relief and welfare of the Scheduled Caste, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women;
  • To contribute or provide funds to technology incubators located within academic institutions which are approved by the Central Government;
